Why did Mutindi provide condoms to Pastor Kanyari?
The action was a part of Mutindi’s broader statement, in which she freely expressed her desire to wed Pastor Kanyari, and emphasized the necessity of safe intimate practices for him given his standing with women.
“It’s evident that women genuinely desire Pastor Kanyari. I’ve provided you with safety. “Daddy, use protection, and don’t turn away women,” she uttered.
Speaking with a Tuko Kenya interviewer Trudy Kitui, Faith defended her conduct, saying she thought the church needed people who were not afraid to speak out on issues like safe intimate education.
She also addressed the backlash she received for providing such things to a religious figure, saying that talking about safe intimacy practices shouldn’t be seen as shameful.

Mutindi mentioned that her gifts also included money and other items, but it was the personal care items that drew quick judgment from others.
“Pastors endure a great deal. They receive the most criticism. Did you know that pastors cannot get safety gear from a pharmacy due to fear of judgment? They should not be judged by others because they are also human. I won’t apologize because I didn’t do anything wrong,” she said.
“Pastors are going through a lot. They are the most judged people. Do you know pastors can’t buy protectives from a chemist because of being judged? They are also humans; people shouldn’t judge them… I didn’t do anything wrong, and I won’t apologise,” she said.
Earlier, the televangelist apologized to his church members and Kenyans at large for entertaining the lady. The Salvation Healing Ministry founder said such an incident won’t happen again.
