Singer Rickman Fires Former Lover Sheila Gashumba As His Public Relations Manager, Reveals Next Plan

Rickman Manrick announced on Monday, May 20 that Sheilah Gashumba was no longer in charge of his public relations.

“To my supporters, friends, and family, I would like to inform you that as of Monday, May 20, I will be parting ways with SG Music PR management,” the crooner, who is under the management of Trent Music International, said in a statement.

“I would like to take this moment to thank my previous management for the opportunity, for believing in me and pushing my craft. It has been a pleasure working alongside them for the past 2 years,” added the statement.

“Moving forward, I will be represented by my team of Trent Music International as I am looking forward to this new chapter and can’t wait to see what the future brings.”

The Bango hitmaker’s new move comes after splitting with Gashumba who was his girlfriend.On May 17, Rickman introduced a new lady who is believed to be his new girlfriend.Sheila Gashumba confirmed breaking up with him on May 11. She penned a statement announcing that she and the Naki hitmaker were no longer together.

“While this decision may come as a shock to some of you, we would like to assure you that it was reached with respect and understanding for each other’s paths,” she said.

The two parted ways after spending three years together.Just this year, there was talk of the couple taking their relationship to the next level.

The media personality and Rickman, real name Derrick Ddungu, had a widely publicised and largely blissful relationship.This couple had earlier attracted immense pressure from fans and the showbiz world for them to formalize their relationship to no avail.

However, early this year, during an intuitive interview with Rickman on Sanyuka TV, he acknowledged the fact that having a family was a dream they both looked up to and would initiate plans when they’re both ready.

“The process of having a traditional and matrimonial approach to marriage is a huge step. I would love to stress that it’s in the pipeline and we are working on it,” Rickman said then.
